I'm trying to present a UILocalNotification with a date/time in the past but, in spite of the fireDate specified, the notification always refer to the time of the delivery.
As for the UILocalNotification class reference, In case of fireDate nil or in the past, the notification is delivered immediately. But do you know if there is a way to show a time in the past (instead of "now")?

I've already tried to set a firedate in the past (is my main concern!) but when the noitification is delivered, I've always getting the "current time". Is there a way to deliver a notification showing a time in the past?
Per the UILocalNotification class reference for fireDate.
If the specified value is

I interpret this to mean that setting fireDate to a date in the past will effectively result in fireDate being set to now.
