Q: 27 inch mid 2011

Does anyone upgrade an iMac 27inch with 32 (4 X 8GB SODIMMS) ?  Apple support up to 16 GB ?

iMac (27-inch Mid 2011), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

Although Apple supports 16 GB of memory officially, the Mid 2011 iMac supports up to 32 GB of RAM. You can buy more memory at OWC or Crucial > http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/memory/iMac/2011/DDR3_21.5_27 Crucial has got cheaper prices and the same supported memory, so you would want to buy the memory in Crucial.
