My ipod will not turn on

Please help me.
My ipod nano will not turn on. The battery is not dead and the screen remains black. I checked to make sure Hold wasn't on and I did all the steps listen on the support guide for my ipod. I plugged my ipod into my computer and it has been plugged in for almost 15 hours and the screen is still black. The ipod has not been dropped/smashed in any way and was purchased in Decemeber. Any suggestions?

Yes thanks I tried those. The problem is that the screen is completely black. Its not responding at all and the battery should be full.

Did you give the battery 24 hours as it says in the article?

If so, can you reset the iPod while it is connected to the computer?

I will try letting it set some more not connected, thanx for your help!

I cant reset because even while plugged in the screen is black and wont come one

So when the screen is black try holding down Menu+Select for 6-10 seconds. Does the iPod come on?

Hopefully this is not the case, but the same thing happened to my iPod nano (it simply wouldn't turn on, no matter what, computer didn't recognize it, nothing).

However, you may want to take a look at this thread. If your conditions fit those on the thread, then you may have to send it in for service.
