How do you prevent the computer from dropping the network every time it goes to sleep?

Question

I have a problem with the network being kicked off when any Apple device is stopped and then restarted--even if it is just in sleep mode for a few minutes. My MacBook Pro and iPad do this all the time. My husband has the same problem with his iMac. We have checked the network and the internet service. We have no idea how to fix this. It did not do this until recently, so we think it must have something to do with an update to the software, but it drives us nuts! If anyone has information to fix this, we would really appreciate it!Thanks!

Try the basics first:   Change your router channel number.  Most times this works &amp; is all you have to do.Disconnect &amp; reconnect your modem.  unplug it for about 10 seconds.  Plug it back in.  Do the same for Apple’s routers.  Wait for everything to reboot.System Preferences&gt;NetworkClick the Assist Me button.In the next window that pops up, click the Diagnostic button &amp; do the necessary.
