My apple macpro lap top will not turn on even thow it has taken a full charge.

My apple macpro will not turn on and it is fully charged.

I went on holiday for 1 week so i put my laptop in my safe at home ,

when i returned and tried to use it it wouldn't come on but it took a full charge i don't understand why

this is ,it's only 18months old. Has the safe caused damage in some way ?????

Reset SMC.

Choose the method for:

"Resetting SMC on portables with a battery you should not remove on your own".

Try the left side keys on the keyboard and hold all the keys for about 20seconds.

Leave it outside for a while. Try to start it up tomorrow.

If this does not help, contact Apple.
