I can connect Apple TV to BT wifi hotspot but how do I enter login details?

I can find & connect my ATV3 to BT Wifi Hotspot but how do I enter the login details which allows me to access Internet?

Apple TV 3-OTHER, iOS 6.1.4

If the device requires a login name and password the AppleTV does not support this.
