I don't want to damage my phone at all so I really need a reliable answer!
My iPhone 5 has an UK version of the battery recharger that is why I can recharge it only via the USB now...:/

You can charge your iPhone with the iPad charger without any problem. As the 4th generation iPad comes with a 12W poder adapter, the charge may be faster

So there won't be a problem that the iPad 4 4G has a much more power in ? The iPhone 5 can controll it to not to damage its battery ? Im really scared of damaging it, sorry for it!
It won't damage the battery. The iPhone 5 will be charged at the maximum speed the battery supports
