Five ways to eject a stuck CD or DVD from the optical drive
Ejecting the stuck disc can usually be done in one of the following ways:
1. Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the
left mouse button until the disc ejects.
2. Press the Eject button on your keyboard.
3. Click on the Eject button in the menubar.
4. Press COMMAND-E.
5. If none of the above work try this: Open the Terminal application in
your Utilities folder. At the prompt enter or paste the following:
/usr/bin/drutil eject
If this fails then try this:
Boot the computer into Single-user Mode. At the prompt enter the same command as used above. To restart the computer enter "reboot" at the prompt without quotes.
try restarting holding down the eject key on the keyboard it should pop out 🙂 if it's physically stuck in the drive i would take to apple store or service provider to have it removed safely.
Does the CD/DVD start to come out and then gets sucked back in and reappears on the desktop? I had that happen with a MacBook. It turned out that the metal case behind the plastic cover above the slot was slightly bent down. When the CD tried to eject it would hit the metal and get pulled back in. Putting a flat blade screwdriver in the slot and gently twisting it to move the metal case up allowed it to eject. Don't put it in too far you only want to bend the case not the drive.
The case can get bent down by picking it up with your thumb pressing down on the case above the slot.
This trick works for me. It took a few tries (around 5-10 times) but the disc finally comes out. Good luck.
Theres a simple Utility I created to remove discs that are stuck inside a SuperDrive. Try taking a look:
https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/49129/forceject-too
It sits in the menu bar. If you're still having issues, then it could be a hardware fault. Anyway, I hope this works.

Easy peasy, this one. Works like a charm- thanks a zillion.
