Talk to Verizon. It may not be you can't get it, it may just be excrutiatingly slow.
I can get data on every band (i think they are called that) (3G, LTE) except GPRS.
I havnt talked to them yet
GPRS is the "o" symbol
Verizon uses CDMA and not GSM, of which GPRS is a subsystem of, and may not even be available for use on Verizon's network

No, on a Verizon iPhone, that's 1XRTT. If you see the symbol, you're connecting. However, 1XRTT is very slow, often too slow to support some applications.
