I just purchased an ipad4, what app is capable with MSword/excel etc.
I read the reviews for docs to go, it doesn't look promising, any suggestions?

I use documents to go without any problems but then I only do simple projects. You can look at the Apple programs like Pages and Numbers. Search the App Store for other options.
Hello Jrzygirllinva,
One of my favorite app to edit and upload Word Docs & Excel/PDF files is : QuickOffice
QuickOffice is a great Ipad app. I love it. Here is the link!
https://itunes.apple.com/US/app/id376212724?mt=8&ign-mpt=uo%3D4
It's 19.99, but well worth it if you are using this app for professional purposes.
Let me know if I helped!
PS: Enjoy your new lovely Ipad!! =)
Not sure how professional my documents will be, the reviews aren't that great either for quick office. Not really sure what to get?
The Apple iWork apps are working really well for me.
Like I said, documents to go works well for me. I have used it for several years now.
Ahh I see.
Well let me ask you this so I can help you further.
What do you want to do on your Ipad with word docs?
Meaning, do you want to create word doc on your Ipad and then switch it over to your computer?
Otherwise, I can suggest some pretty good word processing apps but do not save as .doc.
I am looking forward to your response!
I have usually used my laptop to create word docs, I'm sure that everything that I have done on my laptop I will now be doing on my iPad.
I understand where you are coming from. I have done the same thing when I bought my Ipad.
A very powerful app that I believe will help you is Pages. Here's the link!
http://www.apple.com/apps/iwork/pages
You can also buy Pages in a bundle called iWork for files that are excel like.
Pages is an app made by Apple. You can trust it and believe that it has good quality to it.
It has a price of $9.99.
Not bad at all in my opinion. I would highly recommend Pages.
Otherwise, you can try Document Writer for $4.99. Here's the link!
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/document-writer-word-processor/id595073719?mt=8
It has a solid rating of 4.5 stars!
Let me know what you end up going with!
Thank you Tech, one last thing to do is check with my employers IT dept and see what they say, thank you for all your help and suggestions.
It was my pleasure to help Jrzygirlinva!
Let me know if you need any further assitance!
Wishing you the best,

Hi Tech, I was looking into Pages as you suggested, but I can't find the bundle pack, am I missing it?
Hello again Jrzygirlinva,
The bundle pack is called iWork. You can find it by clicking on the following link:
Just click the buy now button on the top right!
To make things easier, search iWork on the appstore straight from your iPad. The top 3 results will be part of the bundle. Keynote, Pages, and Numbers all run for $9.99 each.
A 30$ value for all 3.
I hope this post helped!
It was a pleasure to talk again,

When I click the link above it takes me to Mac store, is there a difference between the Mac store and the App Store?
Good question!
I didn't know this myself but appreantly most, if not all iWork software are NOT cross compatible.
The ones on Mac App Store are more expensive as well.
Sorry about that!
Take what I said earlier and save yourself a headache.
Search iWork from your iPad and purchase the software that way.
Goodluck!
I just purchased an ipad4, what app is capable with MSword/excel etc.
