Some websites, e.g., CBC News [http://www.cbc.ca/news/] have blue text on a black background.
Is there a way to fix this?
Just did a clean install of 10.6.8, and the website problem has not changed.

Hi ..
Try troubleshooting extensions and third party plug-ins.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that off if there are any installed. Quit and relaunch Safari to test. If that helped, turn extensions back on then uninstall one a time to test.
That site renders fine here.

Try resetting Safari.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Reset Safari.
Select the following:
Clear History
Remove all website data
Then click Reset.
Now empty the Safari cache. Press Command + Option + E then quit and relaunch Safari to test.

The reset Safari, etc. didn't work.
Will just have to live with some ugly websites. Will try a couple to see if the problem is there.
Tried a basic boot with no Safari extensions.
The blue on black text is gone.
If there is more than one extension installed, uninstall one at a time, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
Process of elimination 😉

But one extension doesn't show in Safari's Extension prefs.
