I deleted several playlists from an Ipod and they are all gone from my ITunes. Can I get them back?

I deleted several playlists from my iPod. I was at a friends house who had equipment that couldn't select playlist and didn't want to hear Christmas Music. HA

Now it is deleted from my entire ITunes. Is there anyway to get this back?

iPad 2, Mac OS X (10.7.2)
