Hi , it is a modem. It says "you are not connected to the internet" then there is a diagnosis button and it cannot fix it self.

You need to expand on what you write. Give more details. Give the steps you have tried.

The quotes implies that this is a message you have seen. I assume that the it means you saw this message on the modem. Does the modem have a display? I doubt it. Is this some type of light on the modem?
What is the make & model of the modem? Who is your isp?
The Interface that connects to the Internet, needs to be drug to the top of System Preferences>Network>Show:>Network Port Configurations and checked ON.
Then... Try putting these numbers in Network>TCP/IP>DNS Servers, for the Interface you connect with...

Then Apply.
