Q: Missing Purchases

I have quite a few songs that I purchased (over the course of a few years). I am able to play them in itunes but cannot locate them on my computer nor can I sync them to any device. Where are they?

iPod nano, Windows 7

If you can play them in your iTunes library then they are still on your computer (and that should let you sync them to your iPod), and right-clicking a track should give an option to 'show in explorer' - does that not find them ? Or do they have an exclamation mark against them and you can't play them in your library ?

If you can't play them and they aren't on your computer then if they are iTunes purchases then you might be able to re-download them (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes. If they show there then they probably have 'downloaded' against them instead of the cloud symbol for re-downloading, in which case deleting one of the missing entries from yoru library (where you click on it to play it) should change its icon to a cloud syb
