Hi James,

e-portal is very useful in the school for everything like roll calls, assessments, checking students attendance ,students info, contact info, and timetables.

Doesn't exactly answer the question, but I'll assume it is some sort of web based application or application suite. Is this something your school IT department has deployed? Knowing the specific vendor would help, but you could also check with them.

Going on a little bit of leap of faith: You cannot install any browser add ons to Safari (and third party browsers generally come with those preinstalled), so likely you would not be able to duplicate what you see on your computer. If you could identify what the service specifically is, it is possible there is an app for it. As stated above, check with your IT department.

No guarantee it would be fully functional, but investigate iCab Mobile. It is an alternate browser that allows you to set the browser ID to something other than a mobile browser. I have found it works well for many sites that otherwise a problematic with Safari in an iOs device. It isn't free, but is only three or four dollars (USD). I actually use it as my primary browser on the iPad.
