How do I get my DVD unstuck from my drive?
My DVD is stuck in my drive. Also, when I click on CDs and DVDs under System Preferences, I get "not responding" and, sometimes, a little rainbow circle. Can anyone please help?

To continue the last message, I have tried pressing the eject button, to no effect. The disk does not show up on my desktop or on my devices menu.
Reboot and hold the mouse key down while it reboots. If it's a software issue that should eject it. If it's a failure of the mechanism you will need the attentions of an engineer.
Yep, holding down the trackpad/mouse during reboot force ejects dvds / cds from the drive.
