Are used MacBooks covered with Apple warranty in 1-year from initial purchase?

Yes, i did check the coverage on the like stated above and it says that item has warranty coverage for 1 year (till 5th June 2014).

But maybe there's a catch concerning used items or the second owner. I searched the Apple Warranty agreement but didn't find anything concerning "used" or "new" - only that I must have an invoice or receipt.

I have some doubts becvause device condition stated in invoice as "used". (But the device arrived abolutely new - package was still in factory shrink wrap.)

Why all this matters:

I'm going to purchase an Apple Care Protection Plan, but I have doubts that it is eligible for it because item bought was stated as "used" (though it was new in fact)

Link says I have 1-year warranty coverage till 5th June 2014. But I'm concerned if there's something in Apple Warranty agreement concerning items purchased used.
