I copy all contacts from Nokia in VCF format. while importing the same in iCloud, it gives me error

I did encounter same problem when tried to import VCF's from Samsung to sd card and then into icloud.com. I still do not have solution, sorry. Just want to make sure that I understood you correctly. I was getting something of kind those files are not recognized or incompatible, do you see something similar?
