Just deleted my calendar - no recent iTunes backup, no iCloud data

I was checking something in my Calendar and have somehow managed to delete all events. My last iTunes backup was last month, I've logged into iCloud but there are no events in my calendar there either.

Is there anyway I can find these files on my phone? It only happened about an hour ago.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Nope, thought I was but apparently not. As soon as I've found the missing data (or more likely restored from backup), I'll be setting that up.

When I go to Settings>iCloud, it shows me that the Calendar is on, but further down the screen, iCloud Backup is off. I assume that means I could access a calendar on iCloud, but that my events aren't synced? I've not ever used iCloud so don't really know how it works.

Thanks pdroth. I'm currently copying off my latest photos and videos. Will sacrifice the messages and restore from my last itunes backup I think.

Is there no 'Recycle Bin' on an iPhone that saves all the deleted stuff for a certain period of time, like there is on a windows device? That would make life much easier.
