Running Flash Games - Which Browser

I'm not sure a different browser would help with slow loading. Did you install Flash Player?

Second, web-based games all suffer the same two limitations:

1) Your actual internet connection speed. You can use:

BUT DON'T click on any buttons that say "Scan" or "cClean up your mac" becasue you will get hit with a ver ytroublesome program, MacKeeper. No good.

Speedtest gives you options of testing different servers. Try several.

2) If a site hosts a very popular game but has too many users and/or too little server capacity, load times can be bad. You can't fix that other than trying the games at different times of day or complaining to the site directly,

Do you have any extensions enabled in Safari? Do Safari Preferences > Extensions tab to see if you do. If so, turn them off and retest the games.

Commercial anti-virus and "cleaner" packages will drag down performance. Are any installed?

I would try Chrome as it has flash embedded.

That said today 1meg broadband with upload speeds well under that and might be as little as 256kb is certainly going to limit online gaming..

As you are playing games you use upload and well as download bandwidth and that will be your bottleneck.

Not knowing where you are, however I would look at other broadband suppliers if you intend to game heavily.

20meg down and 5meg up is a minimum really.

The ISP regularly sell on download speeds however almost always cap uploads at Much slower speeds - Bit of con really
