Aug 22, 2013 10:33 AM in response to ariel sby Agaveazul,Thanks Ariel. I tried all that but it didn't help. I forgot to mention that I am using a Presonus Studiolive 16.0.2 hooked to my imac through firewire... I have been reading quiet a bit and it seems that some of these mixers (specially those running under 220V) are experiencing the same problem. They have to be sent back to service for repair. Too bad I had to work so much for that, but Presonus does not have this problem very well displayed on their site... I'll let you know if I solved my problem when they sent it back. Thanks again.

Sep 28, 2013 6:57 PM in response to Agaveazulby Saieash,I too have the same problem. It seems to happen in any DAW, not just logic. Also it seems that Universal Control freezes and doesn't respond for a few seconds and then 'unfreezes' a the same time it stops recording. I have tried multiple firewire cables and changing the firmware and factory resetting the 16.0.2 without luck. Have you found a solution to this problem? Also can you please link me to where you ahve read that it happens to sme of these mixers especially 220v ones.
Thanks

Sep 29, 2013 11:17 PM in response to Saieashby Agaveazul,Hi Saileash,
After trying lots of things like you, I decided to contact my salesman and explained the problem. He didn't know what was wrong but he immediately contacted Technical service who said it's a very common problem on mixers running on 220V (sold basically in Europe), and it's an easy repair (they have to rewire or repair somehow the firewire cards); It took a week but now it woks perfectly well and I'm enjoying every minute of it.
Presonus technical service worlwide have all they need to repair it. So my advice is to send your mixer to your store and have him send it to a Presonus repair center. Hope this will help.
Good luck.
