can i download my itunes library to a new mac

Is there anyway to download my itunes library from icloud or my ipad to a new macbook air?


This includes music which has not been bought from the itunes store.


Would appreciate any thoughts.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities


You can use your iPad to restore your music to your MacBook Air.


iTunes only allows you to restore songs purchased in the iTunes Store with the Transfer purchases option (iTunes will ask you for it when you plug it to the MacBook for the first time). To transfer other music, use an application like Senuti > http://www.fadingred.com/senuti/ There are other apps, but this is the app that works better in my opinion
