can receive email but can't send email

can receive email but can't send email

I have setup my email on my Iphone 5. I can receive emails but can't send emails. I have checked the settings repeatedly and with my wife's Iphone 4 and they are both the same. I'm not sure if there are other settings that are effecting it. Does anyone know what I am missing. Thanks

You might tell us which email service you are using - google? Yahoo? icloud? another?

I'm using Shaw Mail. I have confirmed the settings with my ISP. Not sure what else

Can't help, never heard of Shaw Mail. But it sounds like the outgoing settings are off. Can you go to a web site of theirs and find what the settings should be?
