Can I upgrade from Leopard to (at least) Lion

Hi,

I just bought Lightroom 5 and it says I need at least 10.7. I am pretty sure I can upgrade to Lion - but can I upgrade to Mountain Lion, too? I am ready to buy the discs but would I need anything else?
