will shuffle 4th gen cable work with 2nd gen
have 2nd gen shuffle, but cradle is gone. Will Shuffle 4th / 5th gen usb cable work? It has the same 4-contact mini connector as the cradle does.

About the iPod shuffle USB cable

The iPod shuffle (3rd and 4th generation) comes with a 45 mm USB cable for syncing and charging.
These cables are compatible only with the iPod shuffle (3rd and 4th generation) and are required to charge or sync the iPod shuffle (3rd and 4th generation).
