Q: Serial Number (system): Not Available??

Hi there... Does anybody know why my Serial Number (system) says: Not Available??

When I open About This Mac, then click More Info and in Serial Number description there's nothing. Then I click System Report and in Hardware overview I find this: Serial Number (system): Not Available

Don't know what's exactly wrong and would like to fix that.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities

If the logic board was replaced, the serial number is lost as it's included in the logic board. This doesn't change the MacBook Pro's serial number because there are other ways to get the serial number > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1559
