Mail

When I want to create a new mail account, Mail always uses one of my contact's name and email address as default value.

This is very annoying.

How can I change the default to my name and email address?

Thank you,

Hey Jonbalapolmoonde,

Thanks for the question. In my experience, this issue can easily be resolved by associating the correct contact card with your user account. To do so, open Contacts (named Address Book in 10.6), and create a contact card for yourself. Once created, select your contact card and choose Card > Make this My Card from the menu bar.
