i tried restoring my ipod touch now it wont connect to my computer

I tried resoring my ipod and now mu computer doesnt recognize it. The USB doesn't even show up on my computer. I also tried getting out of restore mode by holding down the power and home button, but it doesnt do anything. It stays on the recovery mode. Please help! I also tried plugging it in other computers and it's the same problem. My ipod cannot connect. It was working perfectly up until the recovery failed.

Try another cable.

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try on another computer

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
