Aug 21, 2013 8:08 AM in response to haleeddie7by Tesserax,You do have a number of options available to you.
From best to least bandwidth performance:
- Get another base station and configure them both for a "roaming" network.
- Get another base station and Powerline adapters, and configure them for a "roaming" network.
- Get another base station and configure them both for an "extended" network.
Note: In the last option, if the iMac is not getting a good signal from the current AirPort Extreme, then placing another base station at that location will have the same issue. You would want to place the extending base station between the current one and the iMac for best results. To better understand base station placement, please check out the following AirPort User Tip.
