Upload book in ipad iBooks

I made my first book with iBooks Author, only my notes that I ordered into chapters.

When I uploaded in IPad I was a little disappointed because the software has not imported a few paragraphs. Why?

Also my books in IBooks does not have all the functions of a real book epub, I can not enlarge, read horizontally and lacks other features.

Why can not I transfer my book in epub format?

I should not post it on the store.

Maybe I'm wrong something?

I have not found even a complete manual in italian language.
