Upgrade available??

I am new to Apple computers. I have a used machine running OS X 10.4 and see that I would be benefitted by upgrading to at least 10.6 (to get Adobe Flash, among other things). Can I buy an upgrade to 10.6 or 10.7 or do I need to go all the way up to the newest version (lion?)?

Thx,

If your PowerBook is a PPC Mac then Leopard 10.5.8 is as far as you can go. Black retail Leopard install disks are available from Amazon at around $200.

But you can of course run Flash Player in Tiger, just not the most recent versions. Post back if you need advice about that.
