Apple Calendar keeps hijacking my screens focus. How do I disable this?

Whenever I have a new item added to my calender, whether it be and invite or other things, my calender ups to the focus of my screen. Working for a company were we have many invites go out every hour this is become extremely frustrating. I have searched many forums and found a term called "focus hijacking" but no solution. My system is completely up to date aswell.

Has anyone ever experienced this? Does anyone have a solutions?
