iPhone Restore?

My phone has been saying that I need to plug into iTunes to restore my phone before I can receive or make outgoing calls. I did this last night and performed the restore on my phone. Well today, it is once again telling me I need to connect to iTunes and I can not use the phone at all. What do I need to do, why is this occuring?
