Q: how do I access the cd burner diagnostics test on the latest iTunes program??

I just downloaded the newest available iTunes version on my hp pavilion dv7 (11-19-2013) & my disc burner/driver/software cannot be found. Where is the diagnostics area for checking my burner(s) info? Used to be in the "Help" dropdown, but no longer!!

Hi rayjay1469,

If you are having issues with your optical drive after updating iTunes, you may find the following article helpful:

iTunes for Windows: Optical drive is no longer recognized, or "Disc burner or software not found" alert after install
