Scratches on macbook air screen after 3 weeks of owning it. Help!

I purchased my macbook air 3 weeks ago and just noticed 3 small scratches on the screen. I have been so ridiculously careful with this laptop and have absolutely NO IDEA how these scratches happened, but they're here now so i have to deal with it. 😟

a) is there any way to fix these scratches myself?

b) is a replacement screen covered by applecare, or under warrenty in some way because I've had it for under a month?

accidents arent covered by warranty no.

Even the best at using glass polish wouldn't even dream of attempting it, youd apply so much pressure youd virtually destroy the LCD underneath the glass

dont attempt to do that.

Unless the scratch is deep and obvious, I wouldn't worry about it. You can buy some accident insurance however for future mistakes.

I feel your pain. I've just discovered small hair line scratches on my screen too after 2 months of looking after it clse to wrapping it in cotton wool.

Gutted. Trying to see what Apple will do tomorrow when Care call me back. Cost could be close to £400 for a new screen though. Not good!
