How Do you upload videos????

Hey guys. I just bought a new Lumix G Vario camera and used it to film some videos and take pictures. but when i plugged my sd into my imac to uplaod the pictures and videos to iPhoto, it only detected the photos and not the videos. it was like the videos didnt exist. But the videos were still on the card when i plugged it back into my camera. so i tried to upload them in Image Capture and the same thing happend, it detected the pictures but not the videos! so how do i upload the videos to my imac???? please help me!

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

Use finder....and on the left pane you should see the sd card.....copy the videos and paste them in a folder of choice

the videos dont even show up when i click on the sd card in finder... 😟 just the pictures show up

Whay format does your camera shoot?

Froma quick look at the Panasonic site it shoots both AVCHD and MP4.

A note on AVCHD: This format was developed for people who are shooting to edit the material afterwards. If you're shooting to edit, then iMovie or Final Cut are the correct home for this material. If you're not shooting to edit consider using one of the other video formats on your Camera.

While some forms of AVCHD are supported by iPhoto not all are.
