Q: How can you set it up so notification center is always displayed or open?

Instead of clicking in the top right icon to open notification center for a quick look at reminders and events, I would like to see how to keep notification always open and on the right side if the screen. Application could overlay it, but when I minimize apps, it would be nice that notification center stays displayed.

At first glance, it does not appear to be doable. One thing that may be nice is to set notifications to appear on your screen. System Preferences > Notifications > Calendar alert style:

It will not display everything, but it will display the most recent items that are moved to the Notification center.

If you have a trackpad you can also reveal the center by dragging two fingers onto the trackpad from the right.

I wish I could do it too.  I prefer the calculator in the notification center , but using it while having a document open is a challenge. If I want to write something in my document, the calculator and its result disappear..
