Siri on vacation. No response

I phone 5 on iOS 6.1.4 AT&T. All aspects of Siri are non funtional for about 2 days. No dictation, no response to any input. It hangs and if I wait long enough, Siri states that she is not available right now, please try again later.

I have reset my network setting, hard reset the phone, turned Siri off and on. Nothing.

AT&T was of no help.

I am on Long Island/ NYC

Any ideas before I venture to an Apple store? Dn't have Apple care but do have the extended warranty offered by AMEX.
