Q: The 8/22/13 "Find my iphone" update resulted in the following message: You must be a registered iOS developer and have iCloud configured on iOS 7.0 Beta to use this version of Find my iphone". The "find my iphone" app was working perfectly before update.

"Find my iphone" update from 8/22/13 shows the following message:

You must be a registered iOS developer and have iCloud configured on iOS 7.0 Beta to use this version of Find my Iphone.

This app worked perfect on my iphone5 before the update.

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.4

If you aren't a registered developer, you shouldn't be using iOS 7. If you are, and you're having problems with it, post your question over in the Developer forums.

They released the beta version of "find my iPhone" on the AppStore for the stable versions thus rendering it useless for everyone who isn't a registered iOS 7 developer.
