"rastertoescp11 quit unexpectedly" ?

keep getting this message when trying to print from Epson Photo 1400 - any one got a fix for this?

(printing fine from Epson WF-2530)

iMac (27-inch Late 2009), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

Step 1

Open the Sharing pane in System Preferences. If the Computer Name is not set, enter a name. You may first have to click the lock icon in the lower left corner and authenticate to unlock the settings.

Step 2

If there's no improvement after Step 1, restore the following folder from the last backup you made before the EPSON update:

/Library/Printers/EPSON

You may have to reset the printing system for the change to become effective.

Thank you all for swift responses, which came in just as I was leaving the office last night. Naming the printer did indeed solve the problem - must have become un-named after an update as worked fine before.

I too have had the same problem, my epson SX435W stopped working after last automatic epson update.Spent most of day trying to sort it. just tried adding another printer to printer list ( same printer as was on list)- and hey presto printer is now working. don't know if it will help you but worth a try.

sorry not a bit technical. mostly haven't a clue what I'm doing ;-\
