how do I transfer all my photos and videos including the camera roll from my Iphone 5 to my Windows 7 laptop?

hi there, I have an IPhone 5 32gig filled with pics and vids I cannot get off my phone and onto my laptop running Windows 7. Ifunbox hasnt recognized the camera roll. Went into a Apple store last night to talk to a genius and all he said was he hadn't touched a PC in twenty years and that no one there could answer my questions. Yeah, I was furious.

The camera roll should be seen just like any other digital camera when connected to your computer. Anything else had to come from your computer to begin with and can not be transferred without purchasing 3rd party software or individually saving them to the camera roll, emailing them, or otherwise finding another way to transfer them.

You do have iTunes installed on the computer, right? The drivers required are included in the iTunes install package.

hi there,yes i do have the current itunes version. i cannot seem to do it from itunes. even this 'genius' told me that itunes does not transfer from the iphone 5 to my laptop but only would import photos to my iphone from my laptop. utterly frustrating.

however, the camera roll fails to show up anywhere, even the folders that do appear only contain a small amount of photos and vids.

iTunes does not handle Photo/video import. That would be done with the Scanner and Camera wizard in Windows.
