how can I transfer data from my windows HDD (now in a portable enclosure as the laptop died) to my new macbook pro

I have a large quantity of itunes media on my old laptops HDD ( I have put it in an enclosure as the laptop died) now I want to transfer the data from there to my new mac how do I do it? is there a program i can get to do it?.........the itunes and other folders are visible but empty when I open them......I really don't want to have to download hundreds of GBs of movies and tv from icloud
