I do not think you can do it
Thank you very much for trying to helping me out with this
The specs are:
2.3GHz Intel Core i5/8GB/500GB/
also this is MC815LL/A
I really hope I can do this even if I have to buy any addapters or anything else:)
Thanks
No. The 30" display is 2560 × 1600
The specs for your Mini are
Video Card: | HD Graphics 3000 | VRAM Type: | Integrated |
Details: | This model has an Intel HD Graphics 3000 graphics processor that shares memory with the system. Also see: What type of video system is provided by the Aluminum Mac mini models? Which are integrated and which are dedicated? Can the video be upgraded? |
Standard VRAM: | 288 MB* | Maximum VRAM: | 512 MB* |
Display Support: | Dual Displays | Resolution Support: | 1920x1200* |
2nd Display Support: | Dual/Mirroring* | 2nd Max. Resolution: | 2560x1600* |
Details: | *This model simultaneously supports 1920x1200 on an HDMI or a DVI display (using the included HDMI-to-DVI adapter) and2560x1600 on a Thunderbolt or Mini DisplayPort display or even a VGA display (with an optional Mini DisplayPort-to-VGA adapter, which is compatible with the Thunderbolt port). |
The HDMI ot even with the DVI adopter only supports 1920x1200
Thes USB-out video only go yo 1920x1200 too.
Thank you verymuch for your reply again.
SO this is mean I can plug on 30" using Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI adapter. this will give me 2560x1600 and another 30" uisng HDMI to DVI and this will give me 1920x1200?
Thanks
Yes, you should be able to get the native resolution from the mini display port/Thunderbolt output. I do not think you need the Dual-Link adopter unless yo want to use USB on the monitor
You shuld also get 1920x1200 from the HDMI but look at this
Apple Cinema Display (30-inch DVI) has 1280 x 800 as the maximum available
The only problem would be that 1920x1200 does not look that good. on the 30" display.
Thank you very much for all your input and explanation. this is really help to know.
I do have Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013 macbook pro,
Processor 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB
Do you think I can connect these 2 30" to this macbook pro?
Thanks,
No, some problem. The MB only has the ThunderBolt/mini display port video out and HDMI video out.
The macbook pro does has 2 thundebolt ports so if I get another Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI adapter do you think it will do the work
Then it should work. I would go to an Apple store and talk to them to confirm.
