QuickTime Pro hangs on export

When exporting a video in Quicktime Pro around 20 - 30% the window will hang, staying on the same percentage and making the windows "bell" noise as if the program is frozen. In the task manager the program is running just dandy and sure enough is I just leave it for an hour or two it finishes up and produces the exported file no problem. So it's not a huge issue it's just ver frustrating.

Here are the export settings is that helps.

High quality with multi pass

10000k bits/s, streaming.

This is for the windows version (windows 7 with SP1)
