.nsv on Mac

Anyone know of a good software that's easy to install that will stream nsv files (I know about mplayer and xmms) and a good directory of such files. Winamp had both (could find and stream from such sites as TamalTV and ess.tv), but I can't seem to find a similar one for Mac.

Mac OS X (10.4.6)

I have no idea, I've never tried to watch an .nsv file... In the VLC Media Player, you can set-up a "playlist" sort of like iTunes. But the items in the list are files on your computer, not URLs. It can also play lots of kinds of streaming video, but it doesn't give you a list of them to pick from.

Katawu,

I'm a new mac owner (just switched like, a month ago).. and I too was used to my winamp media lists. Winamp Video is one of the only things I wish I could still have, while on my mac.

Don't let them bring up VLC, or even Mplayer. Both DO access the streams, but, as far as I've seen.. they won't play the video. Quicktime, won't play it, and if I'm not mistaken, the mac winamp doesnt even have a video player. ou'd think that they would add a video player, for an OS that is great with graphics/etc. But oh well. Nullsoft seems to have dropped the ball on that one.

It's also odd to me, that the mac, with all it's capabilities, and user friendly software.. that you could do something as measley as stream a video nsv.

So, what will we do?? I haven't an idea yet. I've posted the same question on the forum..

But no answers yet. If you find out more.. Please let me know(justincash.blogspot.com). I'd love to watch Jpopsuki again. 🙂
