Pages div tag problem

When saving a Pages document as .epub, the resulting .epub file contains <div tags wherever images are inserted in the source document. This causes the .epub file to fail validation. Images should be marked with <span tags instead.

Does anyone have an easy fix?

I've corrected the problem short term with text editor, but it was a huge pain.
