Screen protector Defect? Any Solutions?

Hi all,

I have recently purchased a screen protector from Amazon and the process of installing this screen protector requires some sort of spray. So I used the spray and installed the screen protector and it created a shadowy effect and decreased the visibility of the screen. Also depending on what angle you view the screen it shows the squeegee marks that was used to take air bubbles out. Certain sections are bright or dark depending on the view also. So I do not know if this is caused from the light sensitivity or water damage. Does anyone have any suggestions on fixing this problem? 😟

Thank you,

Devin

You don't need to use any kind of spray when puting on a phone screen saver. The best option is to remove enough of the top of the film applied to the back of the protector to enable you to position it correctly.

Once in position, slowly pull down the backing film whilst applying pressure to the front of the protector - using the wide part of a cvredit card works best. If you are careful enough you will have no air bubbles at all. If you do try to expell them with the credit card - if that won't work carefully lift from the closest corner with your fingernail up to where the bubble is and re-apply carefully.

The only liquid ever needed when applying adhesive labels or protectors is soapy water which allows a label to be moved around and you press out the soapy water to remove ait bubbles. Given you've got a phone you don't want any liquid anywhere near your phone.

Good luck.
