How do I transfer music from my iTunes Library on my Mac to my iPad? I can put music from my iPad to my Mac but not vice versa. I have copied a lot of my own CDs into the music Library and I would like to put it onto my iPad as well. The Mac is brand new. If I need to sync my iPad, I do not know where to do this. Thanks.
iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G
Hello - when I go into iTunes FILE the sync device does not appear. I have the iPad connected to the Mac now, and I also have the WiFi turned on. When I open iTunes on my Mac, the list of songs comes up. Is that right?
Thanks - I turned the ipad off and restarted it and it did come up on the itunes. However when I went into sync device, nothing seemed to happen. I saw the ipad sign on the right hand side near the itunes sign and I clicked on it and it disappeared <sigh>. Now now I have to restart everything again. What should happen when I ask it to sync with the ipad? It keeps wanting to transfer the pix I have on the ipad and it has done this several times . Sorry to be so thick!
I have downloaded itunes again, although I am sure the Mac has the most up to date version already. Perhaps the ipad does not.
