I want to be able to open a new window in safari. (NOT A TAB). I want to be able to minimize a safari page and click on the safari icon and open up a new window. I don't want to click on command-N or go to file-new window. Please help THANKS 🙂

You've not told us what Safari version you have. However in Safari 6.0.5, if you CLICK and HOLD the Dock's Safari icon, one option that pops up is "New Window":

Don't want a tab, want a window so command does not work
You could also use command-n or click on File new window. That's it.
