Aperture 3 upgrade will not accept Aperture 2 key

I had to reinstall all of my software

I have DVD version of Aperture 3 and Aperture 2 and Aperture 1.5

When I try to install Aperture 3, it accepts my Aperture 3 Key number Then asks for Aperture 2 number

No matter how I type in my Aperture 2 key, I get an "invalid key number" error

I know this number works because I have used it before

Any ideas how to proceed?
